About Alpha&Omega

Our Mission

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Revelation 22:13

In this verse Jesus Christ reveals his Divine Nature as God. God has no begginning nor does He have an end. He is eternal. The Alpha (A) is the first letter of the greek alphabet and the Omega (Ω) is the last one. That is the phrase we have chosen to be the name of our brand.

We live in a world that seems to battle our Christian beliefs on every front. Modern day Europe is increasingly characterized by anti-Christian sentiment, driven by growing cultural trends. Christians are looked down upon as a relic from the past, that have no place in our "modern and advanced" societies. Mention Jesus Christ to anyone and you will be greeted with rolled eyes, sighs and resentment. Where is all of this coming from? People nowardays seem to have a strong emotional response whenever the name of our Lord is spoken or anything regarding His time on earth.

Our modern day governments do not take our faith seriously anymore. My homecountry of Greece has turned its back on its Christian foundation. A place where Christianity grew and blossomed from its early beginnings, a place which has produced countless of saints, a place which declared independence first for the sake of our faith and then for the sake of our land. And where are our institutions leading us towards? Well, where should I start? Atheism? Nihilism? Materialism? Hedonism? Polytheism?

The reality is that all of this influence is driven by one motive alone. To turn people away from Jesus Christ. However, do not be mistaken, this has happenned many times before and in various places of our planet. And there is one who is responsible to drive people away from the Truth. One whose mission is to turn us away from our Saviour, acting out of spite and jealousy. That is Satan. For he has power over our corrupt world leaders (John 14:30), and our institutions, and through them seeks to turn us away from God.

They are acting in front of our eyes. How many times have we seen it? Satanic displays meant to mock our Lord and the sufferring he endured for us. They are being promoted in shows as big as the olympics, in eurovision, and across social media. And we are told to regard it as nothing more than a plain artistic expression, and disregard our own eyes and soul.

We want to make a change. We do not wish for any follower of Christ to hide away his or her faith, and let the world run us over. We want to resist, and spread the Good Word, instead of the garbage that is constantly shoved down our throats.

Thus, Alpha & Omega seeks to embody this vision through sportswear that honors our faith. Our vision is to fuse traditional iconography, with some modern elements, and to provide uplifting messages for athletes who are pushing themselves to the maximum.

A core element of Alpha & Omega is that we want to ensure that the clothes we make are of the highest qality. Therefore, we work with small batches, instead of bulk production, to ensure that each item is created with 100% of our care and attention.

We want to serve our mission first and then act as a conventional clothing brand. That is why we decided to donate 10% of all our profits to churches and other Christian institutions. These donations will be documented and you will be able to track them trhough our website and our social media. We also want to prioritize doing business with people of faith only. And we want to warmly encourage you to portray our clothing publicly, so that more people can join our community and our mission can expand.

Meet The Founder

My name is Nezar Lampros Alshibani-Lagopodis. I originally come from Greece, and I currently live in the Netherlands. Throughout my life I have gradually learnt more about Jesus Christ and I want to believe I have come closer to Him, even though the road ahead is still long. I am also an MMA athlete, which has influenced my choice to create sports clothing. Besides that, I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam. One thing I want to clarify is that I am not a theologian, or a priest, or a monk. I am just a follower of Christ. These are my thoughts and feelings, but they should not be considered as religious gospel. I encourage everyone to discuss with people of faith, and read the works of our early church fathers.
